We have monthly newsletters to keep parents and carers informed of everything that is happening at Caldecote Day Nursery and information is also regularly updated on our website. Our team keep a regular record of the progress of each child in their very own online ‘Learning Journal’ which is available for you to look at whenever you wish. In the Learning Journal you will find examples of your child’s learning and photographs detailing key points in their development. We hold regular parent milestone meetings in which parents are able to go through their child’s achievements and discuss their learning journey with their child's Key Person in more detail.
We like to keep information on your child as up to date as possible by asking you to complete an 'All About Me' document, three times a year, so that we have an understanding of their interests at home.
We pride ourselves on our face-to-face contact with parents and encourage working as a strong partnership.
Three times per year, we also hold our 'Stay & Play' sessions, where families are welcomed into nursery to play alongside their children, experiencing some of the learning activities that they take part in and having the opportunity to meet other parents and families too.
